Single player 9/10, multiplayer 7/10, overall 8/10
Single player was great up until the final stages of the story, then the ending just felt rushed. There should have been more / random jobs to do in single player.
Also, the choice of music in this game absolutely blew donkey balls. Only 2, maybe 3 radio stations worth a shit out of more than a dozen.
And multiplayer was ok after you get passed the mess that is the mandatory race and subsequent drug run.
Graphics looked great for consoles that were 7 and 8 years old respectively. Gameplay was pretty good overall.. the cops were relentless though, far more than any other GTA game. Even at just two stars it was usually a fight for your life to get out of there unless you had a convenient place to stowaway until the heat died down.
I miss the carefree wanton destruction from the PS2-era GTA games.
