Sony's fiscal year ended on December 31st and they forcasted in february since that was their earnings release date (February 6th), i doubt with a month into the fiscal first quarter they knew how much the PS4 would contribute since give they announced updates to PS4 sales in late february before the Japanese release and in early march when they crossed 6 mil. The forcast was 5 mil. |
I assure you that in February the forecast was not 5 million. Lol they would have to start taking consoles back.
