To answer your question: more than likely yes.

I anticipate a "Wii U Air" tablet. Functions as entire WiiU console/gamepad, but is totally portable unlike the current gamepad. And has digital only sales. Comes with an HDMI dongle. And you can buy wireless sensor bar to connect additional wii-motes and controllers.
