I suspect the bolded sums up what makes you different from a large number of gamers. And of the smaller number that are in your corner, they dont buy a next generation system purely to see a leap in visuals, they buy a new PC GPU purely to see a leap in visuals. It is all a matter of perspective. You clearly have yours, little sense in my trying to change it. |
lol Smaller number, definitely it has nothing to do with the visuals and that is why the Wii U is such a success!.... oh wait!!
Better visual doesn't mean exactly a nicer picture, in gaming is a lot bigger than that, a console with that is capable of better visuals equals a console of capable of better atmosphere(game more immersive), better physics(natural collitions), more players on screens, better resolution(easy on the human eye), better frame rate(easy on the human eye), new ways gameplays, etc...etc. If you only get the meaning of better visuals by only a nicer picture, well you need to open a little more your mind, and yes people buy a new GPU for better visuals and don't forget to add all the above I just mention ;).
Also remember the game industry is what it is now, not because online gaming, not because the console extra features skype, cable or whatever, is because of the games that brought us unique experiences.
