In "the west" there's this whole thing about belonging to something or being something special. And people will love or hate you for it. But yes I can see that too, I think gay marriage will be allowed here in the future for sure, because no one doesn't really care about it to be honest. It's just in the law and there hasn't been any discussion about changing it yet, that's about it. There are many gay clubs or dating websites and such, freely open, no restrictions. So being gay is okay, but getting married is still not in the law. I have even been to gay clubs when I go out to party, and I am not even interested in boys or men, but if I like the club I can go there and have fun. I don't think that many straight men or women go to gay clubs to party in the west, but I could be wrong.

But also in China for example, you get married because you want to start a family and have children. It's very traditional. So I don't even know if gay people in China wants to get married? It might sound strange but it might not even be in their interest.

And to be honest, the Chinese government would love it if more people went gay, there would be less babies and less problem with the massive population. :P

Yes, there are places, say in most of Texas, where if you say you are a vegeterian you can get into trouble and assalted or run out of town.  Even Oprah Winfrey got sued by the state of Texas for saying 'with mad cow, maybe you shouldn't eat meat.'  It's like peeing on their religiion while sacraficing 10 babies to satan while rollerblading in a pink tutu- that's how upset they get.

That was the attitude for most gay peole about 10-20 years ago.  They they realized out things like they could buy a house, and the one half family might take it if one died, and leave the other homless.  Paying extra taxes a married couple wouldn't have to pay, adopting children together,  not being allowed to see you dying loved on in the hospital - those kind of things they you are protected from if you are married.

True True!   "Chinese government would love it if more people went gay, there would be less babies and less problem with the massive population. :P"  The would is so crowded sometimes I think we should promoto homosexuality! 

But ha ha, it doesn't work like that.
