They would be stabbed in the back regardless, just like anyone who buys an 8th gen system right now. Price cuts, remodels, bundles, etc. are inevitable throughout any and all system's life cycles. |
If they cut the price a year after launch, I don't really consider that a stab in the back. This mere months after launch is though.

Well what you consider doesn't change that one could have gotten a better deal if they had waited. Now whether or not they get upset over it is on themselves! I certainly wont get upset if they price cut the 3DS this year, infact I'm expecting them to.
