I just don't get this thinking. Sure, if it isn't your cup of tea you won't buy it.
But there is no pretending it doesn't have more features than the PS4, better retail games right now, and a very pleasant aesthetic.
There is absolutely no reason, for what you get, this console should be cheaper than the PS4. If all you care about is having 900p instead of 720p, or 1080p instead of 900p, then get a PS4. But your not caring about some of the One's cool games and features doesn't suddenly mean they don't exist.

First of all, I do care about the features and games on PS4, being halfway through Infamous and loving it.
Though even if I did not care about the features and games on PS4, it wouldn't mean they are not there. The PS4 can manage slightly higher resolutions and/or slightly more particle effects than the Xbox One. The Xbox One can perform a variety of media functions, voice and sight navigation and interactions as a form of gaming input and social functions beyond what the PS4 can manage.
These are facts. You might not care about them, and if you don't then you wont be purchasing an Xbox One. But that doesn't mean they shouldn't be included in a pricing scheme.

You know PS4 has voice navigation? Doesn't require a camera. Where was Twitch streaming on the Xbox One when it launched? Not there, missing feature. The only media function it can perform that the PS4 can't, is watch TV. What is sight navigation btw? You can navigate with your eyes?

I am aware that you can use the mono headset to navigate menu's, but not for gaming integration, and not for voice recognition. I have not actually tried the voice navigating on the PS4 yet, so will not speculate on its effectiveness.
I am sure you know what I meant, but just in case I will clarify that you can use your hands to navigate menus. Furthermore, Kinect recognises both the face and voice of the person controling the console, and logs you in automatically (including multiple people at once) if it sees you enter the room.
I don't know what relevance launch has to current value? Given my Xbox One has Twitch I would say none. But if you want to be pedantic, the PS4 did not launch with voice navigation, you needed to download a patch...
