Who really cares either way? A price drop is good for consumers no matter why it happens.
It is too early to count any console out, especially the X1 and PS4. The 360 and Ps3 sold around 70 million plus?
We are still in the 4-6 million range this gen. There is a lot of time left.
Anyway, who really cares? Unless you have stock it really shouldn't be an issue. Fact of life - exclusives exist and always will, if you really want to play all the exclusives you must buy all the sytems! No one says you have to buy them at launch, but trust me in the long run $400 and even $500 doesn't really mean anything in a 5-7 year span.
