Naughty gods oops I mean naughty dog always lock the hardest difficulty, so do a lot of other developers. On top locking a difficulty is not a game mechanic.

let him talk about difficulty all he wants. It means nothing when he thinks a game with meathead bots is game of the generation lol. ...and its not even a game mechanic.
