Saves/Check points in the worst spot on purpose. Just to make the game seem harder. Most games put them before a cut scene or some hugely difficult area. Put it after the hard part. Since the hard area is gonna just be played over and over again. Rather than the area that gets you killed cause you're low on health. And never force Cut-scenes, ever. This is just a complete asshole move a designer can do. Also not being able to rebattle bosses or key areas. Why not? It adds replayablity. But most don't allow you.

Ai obiously cheating in Fighting games. They can hit combos faster than a human. This shit pisses me off to no end. Play fair. Or that diffcuilty is a waste of time. Or the crap where the Ai all of a sudden goes from dumb to instant perfect shot. When the level requires a increase in diffcuilty. Don't just skip from normal to ultra difficult. Any fighting move that requires a zigzag of the joystick. It doesn't read 90% of the time.

Ai team members not allowed to revive you in games where you can revive friends, but the Ai refuses to do that. BS cheap way to make a game harder.

Changing key features between sequals. Crysis 1 let you save anywhere. Crysis 2-3 stopped this. BS move.

Oh, and games that have reducleslsy drawn out gameover screens. Or force you to reload the entire game from title screen. RE 0-4 is the perfect example. Reload from a checkpoint.
