Not imo. Take a look at the original Monster Hunter PS2 scores or scores from God Hand. Not sure if you've ever played God Hand, but it's like the Demon's Souls of 2006. Not that it plays anything like Demon's Souls, but how it has great gameplay and gives the player all the tools to progress regardless what is thrown at you, yet it's incredibly difficult.
