In no particular order, I'd say....

Bioware - Always loved these guys. KOTOR, Jade Empire, Mass Effect, Dragon Age.....say what you will these guys make some of the greatest RPGs out there. Sure, DA2 was a let down, but EA obviously rushed the shit out of that game, so I can't even blame them for it. By the looks of things Inquisition will bring Dragon Age right back to the top. As for ME3's ending.....that was the biggest overreaction ever by a fan base. Seriously, that game was a masterpiece. I hated that ending too, but what it turned into on the internet was just stupid. Few games touched me as deeply as ME3 did multiple times throughout.

Bungie - They created Halo. Nuff said. Seriously, Halo is the reason I even got into gaming way back when, and Bungie has never missed a step. Destiny looks amazing as well, and I'm sure it'll be a huge hit. These guys can do no wrong. You know, besides Armor Lock.

CDProjectRed - Now to be fair, I've only played 2 of their games. Witcher 1 and 2, but they made quite an impact. Witcher 3 looks to be yet another huge step up from them, and I'm also very intrigued by Cyberpunk 2077 (gaming needs more cyberpunk). Their games are deep, mature in every sense of the word, immersive, and they just seem to keep getting better.

Remedy - They don't seem to make all too many games, but every game they've made I have absolutely loved. Max Payne 1 and 2 were some of my favourite games back when I still played more PC. Super fun gameplay with a dark, intriguing story. Alan Wake was one of my absolute favourite games of last gen. Say what you will about repetitive gameplay (which it had), but the game just gripped me in a way very few games ever do. It's one of those you wish you could forget and play through it for a first time over and over again. The DLC also added some cool elements too it that could eventually be incorporated into the sequel it will hopefully get someday. I can't wait to see more of Quantum Break. I'm sure it'll be a masterpiece.

From Software - Another very recent entry into my top 5 and not too many games to back it up, but you know what....the little I have played more than justifies them being here. I never played Demon Souls, because I didn't own a PS3 at the time, but I did get to play Dark Souls, and I loved every last bit of it. In an environment where every game these days seems to baby you, Dark Souls was a real breath of fresh air. I'm still holding out for a next gen version of DS2, but rest assured I will dive into that game head first sooner or later, and likely won't emerge again for some time.
