Miyamoto is over 60 and his best years are well and truly behind him. Great years in the 1980s and 1990s for video games but the quality of the games seems to have stagnated over the last few years. An injection of youth and a new direction is probably needed to take the classic Nintendo First Party IPs into a new era. Miyamoto has created and developed countless games for Nintendo over the last 30 years.
