I could say Sony depends on Naughty Dog. Sony doesn't make it....the studios they own do. Your perspective is very weird how one company that natively owns a smaller company has more creativity then another which secures said creativity from outside. As a end user, this shouldn't even concern you. |
Naughty Dog became apart of Sony with a solid goal in mind, which was to create movie-like experiences. You really need to look up your history. Microsoft has no goals. Naughty Dog is one of the helm arms of Sony gaming development. They represent much like Sony Santamonica what Sony is all about. If you've seen other Sony games they feel like Uncharted in cinematics and overall gameplay feel of immersion.
Bungie never represented Microsoft. In fact they had to leave Microsoft because Microsoft held them back and they couldn't agree on anything when it came to creativity. Microsoft wanted them to make Halo forever and this is exactly why Epic got tired and just sold Gears off to Microsoft. They wanted to be rid of it. You really need to know the difference.
