i prefer the x games rating...

1-5.... all the .something is too complicated and opens too much possibilities....

i always interpret it as

5 - Amazing game and should be play and it better be as good as orgasm

4 - Great game with some flaws

3 - Just ok or average game.

2 - A lot of flaws and should only be played if you like the genre

1 - Garbage.....

so in metacritic... 3 would be a 60/100

Taste in games is very subjective... i dont know why people are swaying away from the games that receives score around 60 or less....

Your scale seems rather lax compared to my interpretation. My 60/100 is garbage. While your 20/100 is garbage. Seems kind of off when I compare my scale of /10 to your /5 though.

it is...

but i dont see a point of 9.5 vs 10.... what is the difference between the .5 out of these possibilities...

1

1.5

2

2.5

3

3.5

4

4.5..... there are too many....

60/100 is not garbage for me... since people have different taste....

and should consider that some genres are more tolerable to some people compare to other....

and most people consider 1-5 out of 10 not playable or garbage... then what is the difference between 2 vs 2.5 if they are both not playable... i think 1-5 is the best rating for games....

for example... dragon ball have a meta of 57 which is around 2-3 out of 5 in the 1-5 rating... it might have a lot of flaws but if im a dragon ball fanatics and a fighting game addict... i still have to play it since it is on my line of genre even if it receive mixed reviews....
