It's Nintendo, and some of the most memorable "themes" in the world come from Nintendo games. I would expect nothing less from them in general. Even Pikmin 3 has an excellent soundscape and ambience! The sound effects and ambient music in Pikmin 3 remind me that Nintendo has some of the best sound engineers as well!
