Technically inferior Xbox One games have higher metacritic, WHY?

Statistical anomaly because they don't have the same set of reviewers.

The idea that XB1 is getting better scores for it's controller has no basis given that no reviewer that reviewed both platforms has given higher score to XB1 for the controls.
