That assumes Nintendo would sell them. If Nintendo owns enough shares, they can go independent again. Meaning no possiblity for buyout. A company doesn't buy back their own shares if they plan on selling to someone else because they'd lose money.
Besides, if a rich Nintendo fanboy can buy them out, doesn't that just reason that they could buy theirselves out and become a private company again?
