Just chiming in here to agree with Kasz216. If you choose to purchase one of the console Fire Emblem games, definitely get the Gamecube version (Path of Radiance) first. It's a much better introduction to the series, and more forgiving for newcomers. The Wii version (Radiant Dawn) assumes that you already know the battle system, throws you into an extremely difficult first chapter, and will very likely frustrate you if it's your first game. Try the older, cheaper game first!
