Not gonna happen anyway and rightfully so. The WiiU isn't supposed to be for low-ambition games and it's time they start showing it, it will damage Nintendo's image otherwise. I already made a post on this issue in the other thread that was about the Aonuma interview. I like the top-down games a lot as well and in fact my #2 favorite is a 2D top-down game, but realistically these games have no place on today's consoles anymore and are only suited for handhelds.

That's money that's already been spent as the WiiU game is in development since 2011. To shelve it now and make a new top-down game from scratch would only waste more money. And TPHD; expect it near the launch of the next console, for the next console.
