Note Resistance, Motorstorm and Oblivion are first generation PS3 games though. Also note the PS3 has over 10 times the amount of memory available as compared to the PS2.
With regard to the DVD name, you will have to ask yourself how much you really value the brandname versus the technical benefits provided by the Blu-Ray format, also considering the vast majority of the original DVD consortium founders is actually pushing for Blu-Ray disc.
