In my opinion, this counts more as a set-top box than a console and, as I said then, it's not going to have console numbers. If it catches on, it will be with the average consumer, which means a slow burn, mostly via word of mouth. I have no idea what kind of expectations Sony had but I have little doubt they were much more modest than the numbers you were throwing around. |
I nevr thought vita tv numbers would be huge, many others did though. I had expectations of about a baseline of 10k a week especially with all buzz going for it (not to mention it had a simultaneous release with GE2)
