Right, Halo is consider to have a similar impact as Star Wars, you know, that irrelevant failure from George Lucas. Yes, did little to change LAN and online gaming, cough, cough.
But I see your point. The two new twins will have some very similar and overlapping development. The difference between the two for a game pad game aren't that significant. It's in the accessories and other abilities where they really start to separate.
