Yeah I'm big on 3D printing. Most of the time I just use shapeways since nothing beats their price and quality.
The only thing I can share about printing was a custom Wii controller for developmentally disabled kids. Some of them didn't have the ability to play games due to the Wii's motion and complex button layout, so I built a very large gamepad designed to fit in the kids lap. Only had A and B buttons. The motion controls were removed and placed on a hat, so that the kids could still control that aspect of the game.
