I think the potential for this is huge. 3D TV and 3D games are something entirely different. Spending 2K+ for a TV that may display 3D ok and may not depending on the technology is asking a bit much. Buying a headset designed specifically for gaming on the other hand and giving possibly an even more Immersive experience is much more realistic. I have never liked the camera based games by themselves, adding VR back like Nintendo started to way back in the day IMO is the next step.
