Do people realize it's almost impossible to kill a douopoly console? (SONY/MS/XBox One)

It doesn't matter if it had scraps from north america or not. The end result is that both the gamecube and the original xbox were failures and there is no denying it. 

In your world it was a failure but here in North America it was a pretty good success and Halo 2 was actually the first game to have a midnight release.  Wheter one console is a failure or not has do a lot with where you live the Saturn is considered a failure by most people but in Japan it actually did decent numbers it even outsold the N64.  The SMS was a huge failure compared to the NES in North America but in South America and Europe it actually did pretty decent against the NES.
