Damn straight. Either way, not my problem as their actions benefitted their consumer and theirs alone. I believe that was the one area where they truly cared on "Sony levels" lol

Difference between Microsoft and Sony is when they lost third party exclusivity they made their own games. Microsoft is STILLL dependent regardless of the parity and they still play dirty. Nothing is safe for any of their gamers. There is a flaw in your feeling of safety.

Lol geez give MS some time to actually make use of their new studios. Still find it awesome that only MS is willing to pay and play dirty to secure 3rd party exclusives and timed ones for their consumer and Sony just can't be bothered.

Only MS can get 3rd party exclusives from Crytek, Capcom, and buyout the PS4 version of a 3rd party blockbuster like Titanfall. Sony.....I doubt they have that level of commitment.

No, its just that Sony/Nintendo/Sega were smart enough to know it is not a sustainable business model. These companies succeeded in convincing developers to go one way or another by simple nogotiations and dialogue before MS came into play. Moneyhatting is one of the worst business practices to happen of late, and I am fairly glad its backfiring on MS now(Devs now asking for more and more to keep exclusive). Bidding wars just lead to you going bankrupt. Neither Nintendo or Sony have the funds to do what MS does, Sony has completely opted not to play by their rules.

This is why with paying little to nothing, Sony still gets all the big games, WITH extra content and better quality sometimes. Even with MS's funds, they can only concentrate on a few games at one time. COD was where most of their money hats went last gen. What Sony does is approach the AAA's MS doesn't think to highly of or just neglects. How did Sony convince all the indies to abandon MS's ship? When MS had their back turned Sony snuck in with the silver tongue and gave them the small assistance they needed to get started. Battlefield for instance, this was the focal point of Sony's partnership with EA. If MS is paying for the competition, that doesn't bode well for the other. This now applies to Destiny vs Titanfall as well. By siding with Sony, Destiny gets more breathing room to captivate audiences, while MS is concentrating only on Titanfall. MS truly cant afford to pay 50million to every big studio with a AAA game, just to keep a game from Sony. Its so bad that the situations are almost definitely finite. MS gets their few exclusive month(s) and Sony still gets the game without shelling out a dime(or very little), all the while enticing more gamers with games that will NEVER be on XBOX as they are 1st Party.
