How different would the US market be if they had to pay these prices?

So in Australia games are nearly twice as expensive, but minimum wage is more than twice as much. Would you prefer cheaper games if it meant your wages were cut in half?

To be fair... the Federal rate is the bare minimium.  Many states have a higher minimium wage.

Then again America also has a lot of loopholes to that.  Like low level jobs that are basically all commision.
