I think you're overestimating Hyrule Warriors' appeal. The game is primarily just a way for them to cash in with the Japanese , and i doubt the game will get much notice in its Western release.

You're correct, but that's precisely why this works. Hyrule Warriors going for full price is a tough nut even for many hardcore Nintendo/Zelda fans to crack. But at sub $30, it becomes more of an appealing novelty for Nintendo/Zelda fans.

Hyrule Warriors was never made to be AAA title/system seller,  it's made to make a little quick easy money for Tecmo and Nintendo.
