Maybe there's a difference between the US and Europe, but I usually buy new first party games for less than 40 Euros and they're 49.99 or 59.99 on the eShop.

I bought Rayman Legends on the eShop because I play the challenges every day for 10-15 minutes and don't want to change the disk every time for that.

I also bought AC3 and ZombiU at a sale for 9.99 Euros and sold the physical copies. The loading times improved a little.

Nintendo UK had wrong prices for a few hours and I bought The Wonderful 101 for 8.99 Pounds (still have my physical disk).
