That's like saying Why do people like the internet?
Anyway for most people with a lot of money it would eliminate the things holding them back in life like work and bills. I believe the only way I'll truly be happy is if I have enough money so that I don't have to worry about the things that burden my life (which all revolves around money). Changing my carreer path is not going to to happen and it's something I'm stuck with, I enjoy my job but it takes up to much of my life.
If I was rich I would be able to game more, travel more, learn the to play the guitar more then I have, experience life in a new way.
