Except it didn't. It BOMBED in the West both critically and commercially. In fact, Inafune had an interesting history with attempts to Westernize series only to have them blow up in his face. Bionic Commando, Lost Planet 2, DmC: Devil May Cry were all games he produced but when he was obviously pushing to Westernize them they were all flops. The only one that succeeded was Dead Rising 2. |
I don't know much about games like Bionic Commando, Lost Planet 2, or Devil May Cry.
However, I don't think Keiji Inafune had anything to do with DmC.
