It's the company that is hated, not the games themselves (in most cases)

I dislike EA but I still want to play The Sims, so what do you want me to do? There's only one option..

Piracy? Seems to be the best of both worlds.

That'll prevent me from using some functions, for example the Sims 3 Online Store. So I don't count that.
