| Anfebious said: The Wii U is indeed a lost cause and we already talked about it a hundred times in the countless "Wii U is doomed" threads. Hooray for you though, you found that game at half the price in a sale. that must mean prices of all Nintendo games are going down right? Specially if the retailer from your neighborhood is the one doing it since that is the center of the universe. |
So you believe it's just a Wii U thing, and normality for Nintendo pricing will be restored once Nintendo release their next system and their games will hold their full prices again?
Note that this thread also cites multiple other nationwide retailers who have also reduced donkey kong similarly. Not that Toukiden/Sorcery Saga/Ys: Memories of Celceta still cost full price on Vita, whose software sales are even worse than Wii Us so far in the UK in 2014.
You do realise that this did not happen with the GameCube right? Super Mario Sunshine etc all held their retail prices for much of the lifespan of the system, despite the GCN actually faring as bad, if not worse from a hardware sales perspective as the Wii U currently is in the UK.
The threads you refer to, talk purely about hardware, I'm not interested in that, I believe a system can still be perfectly viable without being anywhere near market leader, so long as there is a market for the software. At the moment, it's looking like there isn't even a market for software on Wii U.
The whole dismissive approach of your post, is just as bad as the opposite types of posts. There is a new trend here and it's getting lost under the fanboy tit for tat nonsense.
