In a attempt to promote their strengths in effort to mask their lackluster game design, western developers have trained the current industry into the belief that silly/negligible cosmetics are important to enjoying a video game. Now it is coming back to bite them on the ass. You are absolutely right at the amount of developers coming out to justify their resolutions being beyond pathetic , but you know what ... thats their fault. Gotta reap what you sow. Dont feel sorry for them.

I wasnt talking about devs, im talking about gamers,  And as you say, "trained the current industry into the belief that silly/negligible cosmetics are important to enjoying a video game"  

Some care, Some dont,  and some get so mad about those caring that they get defensive about not.
