I'm always surprised people didn't know about Earthbound before Smash Bros., the game was pretty hyped up in Nintendo Power. I rented the game a few times, but ended up buying a new copy of the game a year or two after launch for $20.... the store had piles of them and I wish I had bought a few more, lol.
I have 0% doubt that Ness is in Smash 4.
