The PS4 is a MAJOR flop in Japan - we need to talk about it

Now I don't think the PS4 is a "major flop", it should achieve PS3 level sales thanks to big titles like Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, Metal Gear Solid, Resident Evil, GTA, and so on. Since the XBO is a non factor over there, and the WiiU's 3rd party support is nonexistent, that leaves PS4 as the only place to play major 3rd party titles.

I would really appreciate it if Japan throws away their smartphones and start buying consoles again. I'm sick of Square Enix putting fucking everything on mobile phones. I could have had Dragon Quest VIII on an HD console, could have, but now I can't.

Before it launched most people thought it would do about equal to the PS3, but after the record breaking launch I saw some being optimistic about Japan.
