The PS4 is a MAJOR flop in Japan - we need to talk about it

But the Japanese market is important because it already has showed us that a lot of J-devs feel more secure with developping for handhelds/smartphones... Low sales for PS4 in Japan can lead to more devs jumping ship to handhelds/smartphones or making games for the Western market that is hated by some J-game lovers...

Ummmm. Not really.

Based on what exactly? Because all we saw last gen was complaining how some Japanese games don't release on consoles (think the latest valkyre chronicles) and how some franchises were not more made for the japanese market but were aimed at the Western market (resident evil)... 

Biggest loss for me is the SMT franchise, or I must have missed something but except persona their is nothing on the consoles while their were so many on PS2..
