VR isn't going to take off until we get the Holodeck from Star Trek! People don't even want to wear 3D glasses. There is no chance at all that the general public is going to want to wear a dorky helmet/face mask while playing video games. Anyone investing in this technology is going to lose a lot of money and end up looking really silly.
