I would consider buying the new system but only if it can compete with PS4 hardware-wise and if Nintendo offers grown up games and 3rd party JRPG support. I decided to skip the Wii-U anyway since there is only one game of interest which is Xenoblade 2. I will not buy a system for just one game and after playing 3D Land and Link between Worlds I realised that I got too old for Mario and Zelda. I wish Nintendo would have grown up with me but currently it has nothing to offer for older gamers.
If I had a child getting into Kindergarten age, I would consider buying Nintendo again.
