Retro's games are hands down better games in all aspects. However, what Rare did to the franchise is significantly better than what retro did. Retro's games will never blow us away the way Rare's games did back in the day, but that's nostalgia for you. I find it very hard to believe that a new gamer would choose Rare's games now over Retro's.
