No. I didn't say that. My point on 3rd parties isn't true expansions such as map packs. But day one DLC, new outfits/characters in fighting games, etc.

A map pack a few months in for $15 for an FPS is a good value. A day one DLC that unlocks a couple maps already present on disc and or unlocks characters in fighting games, pisses me off.

I agree with you there, day one DLC is bullshit and I refuse to support it, but not all developers do that sort of thing. Plenty of them use expansions wisely and without screwing over the consumer.
