^Yeah my cat does that all the time. Meows at the door for ages, I finally go over to let her in, and she just sits there on the step looking blankly up at me.
Infuriating.
The vidoes hit a cord because the cat's actions depicted in them are so true to real life (minus the baseball bat, and the picking up of the flower pots, of course).
