We really don't need another thread on this topic. Use the search function, find the numerous tech threads where this topic has arisen before and educate yourself properly before you start yet another thread on a tired topic.
Pay particular attention to posts from drkrohler, permalite, and joethebro plus carefully read any links they may give. Nearly everything in the OP is plain inaccurate and has been rebutted already.
