There was a time where i would have believe this, BUT its not like EA is throwing support at Vita either

So it could be the sales of the console, BUT they proudly supported the 3DO and that thing sold way worse than and was way harder to port games to than the Wii U and Vita. I don't think anyone will ever truly understand EA's business decisions.
