To play devils advocate, despite what most will tell you, CPU isn't going to matter that much in terms of frame rates so long as its fairly recent, has 3 or more cores and over 2.6ghz.
If you're in to encoding video, music, synthetic processes and cad, then yeah it will matter, but just gaming? Not really.
