MS is the only one of the big 3 that never gives us any info about their overall SW sales though. 

Exactly the reason I take VGC SW totals for 360 with a nice dosage of salt.  We have nothing to check them against, except when larger titles are updated, periodically.

All software numbers are just a giant mountain of salt. You can only ever take it as ballpark. If VGC reports 100K for SW there is a pretty even chance that the actual number is anywhere from 50 to 150K and there's a not unrealistic chance that its outside that range. CoD launch week of 6 Million could be 5 or 7 Million. With VGC software you can confidently say that a game sold in the 10s or 100's of  thousands, or millions or >10 million or >20 million. But the numbers are too fuzzy to say with certainty "Oh look console A with 2.341 million outsold console B with only 2.2761 million".

But you can be reasonably certain that, unless its sales digitally are huge, Castlevania LoS2 has had a poor launch. And DKTF is not doing Wii U much good.
