If only those Facebook likes could be translated to sales...

Well its not far off, really.

FIFA does 12-15 Million a Year on consoles at retail.

The Sims as a franchise had done over 150 Million, as of 2011. This doesnt include the mass popularity of it on Facebook, which has over a Million people playing per day.

Battlefield 3 sold over 16 Million units, Battlefield 4 is on its way to 10 Million.

Need for Speed as a franchise had done over 140 Million, as of 2009. Will be pushing 160 Million as a franchise now, probably more. Does ~5 Million per Year, or more.

It's good to note that Mario alone has 15M likes in Facebook! https://www.facebook.com/NintendoMario?fref=ts

I missed that. Went for "Super Mario", thinking it would be under that name. The official tick of approval is on both.

Well you might have a point but overall Nintendo sold more than any other EA franchise. The Super Mario Bros franchise alone sold 262 Million. We can count Mario Kart too which is heading to 100 Million and Mario Sports (35 Million), Party (35 Million) and RPG (12 Million) and we say that the Mario franchise overall sold about 463 Million. All this taken from Wikipedia, the same source you use to take those numbers.

And that's just Mario. Pokemon is at 245 Million.

You might be right in saying that in the years 2010 to 2014 EA is currently selling more software. But overall it's not even close!
