Actually..........that opinion IS backed up by "most gamers", considering that out of the Top 20/30/50/100 selling games of all time (take your pick), MOST of them are Nintendo made or published titles.

Also, as if this actually needs to be restated for the umpteenth time, there are a sizeable amount of gamers who have been waiting to buy a Wii U when either Mario Kart, Smash Bros., or Zelda U come out. Many on these very boards have echoed that exact sentiment. The Wii U simply has not had a truly "must have" title(s) since it's launch yet, but these games will be that, and they will sell accordingly.
