We don't know PC software sales for any of their multiplats or Sims games. Also the consoles they publish their games on have far higher digital sales than Nintendo games.

True but until you can give out concrete numbers I can safely assume that Nintendo sold more software. We can speculate that EA sold a lot digitally but I have no idea what that might be. Nintendo certainly makes more profit though.

 Well if you only look at games on consoles alone then EA games far outsold Nintendo games. Consoles and PC's are made to play real games. Handhelds are best used as an alternative on the move.

Nintendo makes more profit because they develop games which don't push technological boundaries even on weak platforms. While EA uses state-of-the-art engines on powerful hardware. Also they innovate with each game and have to maintain servers.
